GLOSSARY TERM
Revenue Share (RevShare)
Revenue share aligns both sides on player quality: the affiliate earns a percentage — commonly 25–45% in iGaming — of net gaming revenue (NGR) from their referred players, month after month.
The details that decide profitability
Everything hinges on the NGR definition: which costs (bonuses, payment fees, taxes, platform fees) are deducted before the percentage applies, and whether losses carry over to future months. Two “40% deals” can differ by half in real payout once deductions are compared. Affiliates should model the deduction stack, not the headline rate; operators should publish it plainly, because opaque NGR math is the fastest way to lose good partners.
