Self-Exclusion

Self-exclusion lets players lock themselves out for set periods or permanently; operators must block the account, suppress marketing, and prevent circumvention within reason.

The compliance weight

Marketing to self-excluded players is among the most reliably fined violations in regulated markets — CRM systems, affiliate emails and bonus offers must all respect exclusion lists, and “the email vendor didn’t sync” is not a defense. National schemes (GAMSTOP in Britain, Spelpaus in Sweden, ROFUS in Denmark…) extend exclusion market-wide, and checking them is a licensing condition, not a courtesy.
