ADR (Alternative Dispute Resolution)

ADR gives players an escalation path: unresolved complaints go to an approved independent body (IBAS and similar) whose rulings licensed operators follow, free to the player.

Why it defines license tiers

The practical difference between a UKGC/MGA license and an offshore one is largely this: somewhere to appeal. For content sites, explaining ADR accurately — which regulator, which body, how to escalate — is high-trust material players genuinely need, and its absence from most bonus-focused affiliate content is exactly why regulators view the segment skeptically. Operators’ complaint-handling metrics also feed supervisory reviews; ADR volume is a symptom worth managing upstream.
