Tuning is the craft — seasonality-aware baselines (event days are not anomalies) and severity routing (page on revenue impact, digest on curiosities). Programs running anomaly alerts catch in hours what monthly reviews catch in write-offs; the build cost is embarrassingly small against the first caught incident.
