Uptime SLA
Uptime SLAs bind vendors to availability targets (99.9%+ tiers) with defined measurement, exclusions and credits.
Reading SLAs like an operator
Scope beats the headline number: which components count (API? portal? tracking domains — the revenue-bearing part?), how downtime is measured and by whom, maintenance-window carve-outs, and whether credits approximate actual loss (they never do — SLAs are incentives, not insurance). Event-day sensitivity is iGaming-specific: an hour down during a major final costs a quarter’s marketing, so peak-load commitments and incident-communication terms deserve negotiation attention alongside the nines.
