Media Kit
A media kit is the affiliate’s sales brochure: traffic statistics, audience GEOs and demographics, available placements, content formats and rate cards.
Reading one critically
Cross-check claimed traffic against third-party estimates (order of magnitude, not precision), ask which pages the placements actually sit on, and request FTD or conversion evidence from comparable partnerships. Kits lead with monthly users; deals are made on the 5% of pages with commercial intent. The kit’s real function is starting the conversation — the diligence is yours.
