GLOSSARY TERM

GGR (Gross Gaming Revenue)

GGR is what the games won: bets in, wins out, difference kept. It’s the number gaming taxes usually attach to and the industry’s standard size metric — market reports quoting “the €X billion market” mean GGR.

GGR vs NGR is the number that moves money

Affiliate revshare almost always pays on NGR (GGR minus bonuses, payment costs, taxes and fees), and the distance between the two can be 30–50%. Any commission conversation that doesn’t pin down which revenue definition applies — and what sits in the deduction stack — is a misunderstanding scheduled for later.
