Bonus Advertising Rules

Bonus advertising rules operationalize “don’t mislead” for promotions: wagering requirements, minimum deposits, validity windows and game restrictions must accompany the offer wherever it’s promoted — banners included.

Market variation is the trap

Some markets ban welcome-bonus advertising entirely (the Netherlands’ restrictions, Italy’s ad ban context, Ontario’s inducement rules limiting public bonus marketing), others prescribe wording. Multi-GEO affiliate sites need market-aware content rendering, not one global template — the same table cell can be compliant in one country and a violation across the border. Programs supply market-specific promo materials for exactly this reason; using them is the affiliate’s cheapest insurance.
