GLOSSARY TERM
Live Dealer
Live dealer streams real tables from studios, with optical recognition settling digital bets against physical cards, wheels and dice. It answers the “is RNG rigged” doubt visually and grew into the industry’s second pillar behind slots.
Market structure
Supply is concentrated: a few studio providers dominate globally, licensing feeds to nearly everyone — so live quality differentiates less by operator than by which provider tier they buy and whether they run branded tables. Game shows (wheel-based, multiplier formats) extended the vertical beyond classic tables, at house edges closer to slots than to blackjack; content should price them accordingly.
