Exclusive Deal
Exclusivity trades margin for shelf space: the operator pays premium terms (higher CPA/revshare, fixed fees, kickers) and in return the affiliate limits competing brands — from “top position guaranteed” to full category exclusivity.
Price it against displacement, not vanity
The relevant question is how many FTDs move from competitors to you, not how prestigious the placement feels. Full-site exclusivity on a comparison portal is usually irrational for the publisher (their product is comparison), so realistic exclusivity is positional. Time-box exclusivity clauses and re-measure at renewal; markets shift faster than contracts.
