GLOSSARY TERM
CPA Baseline
The baseline is the full qualification recipe behind a CPA: e.g. “€20 minimum deposit + €40 total wagering within 14 days.” It exists to ensure the operator pays for players, not for deposits that bounce straight back out.
Legitimate tool, common abuses
Wagering baselines defend against affiliate-orchestrated deposit fraud. But baselines that most genuine players fail — wagering multiples set above natural behavior, or windows shorter than typical play patterns — convert a “$500 CPA” into a $200 effective CPA while keeping the headline. Both sides should track baseline pass rates; a pass rate below ~60–70% on honest traffic means the baseline is mispriced, deliberately or not.
