ASO (App Store Optimization)

ASO optimizes store listings (keywords, creatives, ratings velocity) for app-search visibility, where real-money gambling apps operate under store-specific gating (licensing documentation, market availability, age ratings).

The vertical’s wrinkles

Store policy, not Google’s index, is the gatekeeper: market permissions per store country, periodic policy shifts, and the parallel universe of aggregator/companion apps skirting real-money classification. Review-velocity manipulation is both effective and enforceable-against. For operators, ASO complements paid UA under the same MMP measurement; for affiliates, app-review content and store-ranking services form a small but real B2B niche.
