“Conversion rate” in iGaming means click-to-reg, reg-to-dep, click-to-FTD or something else entirely, depending on who’s talking and what they’re selling.

The definitional discipline

Every comparison, deal pitch and benchmark claim needs the ratio specified — a “5% conversion” media kit means click-to-FTD only if it says so. Platform reporting should name ratios explicitly rather than shipping a generic “CR” column; the support tickets saved pay for the label. This entry exists because half the industry’s measurement arguments are two people using one word for two fractions.
