RealRank was just launched yesterday and it seems like so many bloggers are already unhappy about it, judging by the comments. It seems as though some are complaining that now their rank won’t be good anymore, only because they have no traffic… Doh!

When advertiser is paying you, he wants sales, traffic and leads, he does not want “just” a story about his site, written for $20 and never to be seen by anyone anymore. Some people (bloggers) used to host 10+ sites on the same domain, as a result, their Alexa rank was high and it did not really reflect the actual traffic. We all want to have top ranking and ass-kicking traffic, but let’s face it - we get paid in according to what we can provide (potential traffic for advertiser) and whinnying over not getting paid anymore “only because” your blog is dead would be silly. In my opinion — RealRank is going to represent the best measuring data for teh advertisers, and even IF it comes at the cost of some people’s revenue — all you can do it work on your blog and lead it to a higher level.
