So I am on eBay a few days ago and for whatever reason I begin searching for "Ertl Airplanes". Ertl makes diecast airplanes, such as F-15's, Tornado's, etc. They are about 6-8 inches long (fairly big), typically have movable parts. They also made a commercial passenger jet series, complete with actual paint of the airlines.

So long story short, I don't know exactly what caused my to look for them. I had TONS of these as a child, and over the years of course they were lost. So I am looking, and I find one of these Jets that I fondly remember, still new in it's package.

Infact I should say this was not entirely uncommon, as I did find about a half dozen other ones in similar condition. So I choose one, and decide "Why not" and make a bid.

I come back in the morning... boom. Outbid. Not only did this guy outbid me on the one I wanted, this collector bought ALL of them.

3 days later, he had them on eBay for three times his winning bid. GRRRR.

Just thought I'd share. :)

That is so frustrating. I think sometimes even the SELLER goes on and ups the price of the item just to make sure it sells for more. I hate having to worry about stuff like that on ebay. Lame.
