Every big, or semi-big, or semi decent corporation launches its own ads network, hoping to beat Google, or maybe one trying to get Google’s attention so that they would buy them too. John Chow launched his ads network, Ask.com are about to do it, and now Digg.com, the ultra popular social bookmarking community have announced that the official release of the ads network is nearing.
Kevin Rose himself wrote in his blog:
We’ve signed on Microsoft as our new partner to sell and serve the ads on Digg. It’s a deal similar to the one Facebook signed with Microsoft last year. This move gives us an advertising partner with a larger organization and a more scalable technology platform to keep pace with Digg’s growth.
Kevin also mentioned that they are going to focus on design, and ads appearance… Maybe this is going to be the first CLEAL looking ads network, for a change?
