Finally the creators of Firefox get to see the read feedback for their hard work and development - according to w3counter.com, 25% of surfers online choose Mozilla Firefox. Take a look here, if you don’t believe me. Of course IE still dominates the browsers industry dramatically, however, this is only because Windows Platform dominates and naturally most users, who get IE as their default browser, see no reason to switch or even look for another browser… and end up with tons of security flaws, but then again, they don’t always realize it’s their browser’s fault.

I have been using Firefox for over a year and a half now and can confirm with full confidence that this is the best browser out there, especially for webmasters, convenient and secure, hardly ever freezes or crashes, and no wonder 25% of users came to this conclusion themselves.

It actually took me a little while to get used to Firefox, but now it is definitely my browser of choice. I really like the ability to customize it through add-ins, as well as the fact that it is more stable.

The only downside is that many large corporations (including the one I work for) still use MS products (including IE) and don’t allow users to change or modify any of the software. So it means I’m stuck with using IE at work.

I’ve been using it a couple years now and I’ll never go back… The 25% number kinda surprised me though; when I check the stats on my site, I rarely see a Firefox user. I hope the numbers aren’t lying though, it will make the internet a better place; competition is a great thing.
