There is a saying in Russian that I really love, in English it would sound like “Don’t do good deeds to other people and you won’t get anything bad in return”. (or, another short version “Don’t do good to anyone and God won’t punish you”). Not very educative nor highly moral, but here is an excellent illustration for this saying I came across today.

That video was quick yet painful to watch. So there’s an actual Russian adage that contradicts the Golden Rule of Karma — hmm, I didn’t know that.
That is a very interesting comment. How do you say that in Russian? That quote actually sounds a lot like a friend of mine. His life is pretty passive.
