As been a blogger myself, it never ceases to amaze me how creative other bloggers are and how successful can their blogs be. Let’s take for example the Shadowscope - the guy behind this blog, who sponsored the review of his website, build his blog from scrap and currently have PR5 and with about 12k unique visitors per month. Looking closer at his site I can see how the success came to him. It’s the unique style of writing, which fascinates the reader, original layout - not yet another standard WP theme use. He is obviously passionate about what he is writing about, and his well-organized blog with a lot of personal touch just can’t leave the visitor ignorant. Shadowscope is highly recommended to anyone who wants to spend his / her time online reading a quality online journal.

I agree, there are quite a few blogs to emulate out there. Personal style or voice, passion, and organization — successful blogs do have these things in common. Moreover, I think the publishers of these blogs value their readers more than they do revenue. Steady readership and a constant flow of traffic are very important to achieve and maintain in the blogosphere.
