Picturesque - Make Images Gorgeous - is the motto of the new photo editing software on the market. It’s not free, but it’s cheap, only 19,50$, and has a lot of features to allow an inexperienced user to turn an ordinary photo into a professionally looking composition.

The interface of Picturesque is splendid, to say the least. It’s very elegant (Mac style buttons and interface, as been a Mac application in the first place) yet simple and easy to use, including animated “drag and drop” style interface and features such as adding reflections to your images, soft glows, shadows, delicate (rounded) curves, strokes and fades in less time than it takes to open Photoshop. Most features are really available in one click. You can add rounded curve to one or a few selected angles of your choice, which I found to be a very cool option, never seen anything like it

Although it’s a sponsored review, I do feel the need to outline some tiny disadvantages of this “Picturesque” software. The point is, there are not many features there. Yes, they are available in one click and even someone who has no idea in image editing can do so, but there are about 6 basic effects and even though many users won’t ever need more, this could be an obstacle if you decide to advance with your design.
