The long waited release of Lord of the Rings Online Shadows of Angmar is over. After 1 million beta testers have explored Middle Earth the game was launched on 25 April.
This is the only massively multiplayer online roleplaying game that is based on J.R.R. Tolkien’s books. From following the beta testing I can tell you that this game hits a homerun when it comes to following the LOTR lore. Every aspect of the game was carefully thought out to make a world that Tolkien described in the books. The game development took over 4 years but it was well worth the wait.
For any Lord of the Rings follower this game is must play. You can enter Middle Earth as a Man, Elf, Dwarf, or a Hobbit. There are numerous classes you can choose from also including a Lore Master, Minstrel, Hunter, Burglar, Captain, Guardian, or Champion.
