Many of you may have heard of the Western Samoa domain, .ws. Also some of you may not have seen the potential in this growing alternative to the dot com. Today I was on their site looking through their list of premium keyword domains that are available. There was at least 100 keywords thate werent taken. Why you may ask? Well there is one disadvantage to .ws. You CANT transfer the domains. Yes I know that sucks, but when you think about it this can actually help. Dot WS sites will become more well known if they have one owner. Thats why their slogan is A Website for life. Its basically locking your domain for as long as you own it. You wont ever have to worry about fraudulant practaces. So I say go register a few .ws domains. Though registering them on godaddy is actually cheaper than website.ws.
