I have found a program called Portable Apps and this program comes with great features that you didn’t think you could do with your jumpdrive, such as having a webbrowser and all of your bookmarks in your pocket, and much much more. With this software you are able to have firefox on your jumpdrive, along with many essential programs that you didn’t know you could have on your jumpdrive, to be used on any computer!
If having a web browser in your pocket is not enough, PortableApps brings your USB drive even more. Aside from your web browser you can expect to be able to carry around your calendar with all of your appointments, have email client addresses with you at all times, along with all of your contacts, you can also choose to have instant messenger software to stay in contact with all of your friends, carry around your whole office suite for wordprocessing power on the go and even anti-virus software!
The best part is it works with any Windows computer using a newer operating system. Just plug in your USB drive and you are ready to go! IT also works with not only your USB drive but you also have the option to port it onto your Apple IPOD, or an external hard drive! There is also more software avaiable via their site.
