So, you’ve seen the search function on Vista. It can find documents, emails, and more! Here’s a great alternative to the search function. In addition, the software also comes with a great Sidebar, which you can extend by adding more gadgets!

You want the sidebar. I know you do. Well, now you can get it on your Windows XP! Check out Desktop Sidebar! It’s fully customizable with great tools and hundreds of skins so your sidebar will blend in with your Windows theme!

The Startmenu
Yeah, that’s right. Even the startmenu has changed in Vista! Now, this piece of software might not make your startmenu look more like Vista, but it has really improved the old startmenu, and now you can do so much more with it!
